Choosing and Composing Small Works

Rogerio Lupo is a biologist and natural sciences illustrator who works in graphite and color pencil. He will talk about making a subject enticing by including intricate elements, elegant outlines, captivating tonal and chromatic contrast, puzzling textures or specific qualities of light.  Composing the illustration to convey the whole form of the subject through one single position will also be covered. The workshop will be recorded.

PSBI will hold a Small Works Exhibition in May and June at the Community Music School in Trappe, PA.  This workshop will kick-start your creativity for the exhibition!
