Digitizing Your Artwork with Manuel Núñez

This short course will guide artists into the digitalization process of artwork, going through the tools, camera adjustments, material considerations and sequences to achieve the best results. Manuel will help us understand the dimensions of a digital image at a certain dpi, how to preserve the white background on a botanical illustration, and answer other questions we may have during the program.

Our presenter is Manuel Núñez, brother of PSBI member, Selene Núñez!
Manuel has over two decades of experience leading strategic initiatives, photography academies, and content creation programs at Canon Mexicana, where he has played a pivotal role in shaping and supporting the photographer community across Mexico. Parallel to his executive career, Juan Manuel has been a visual creator of aerial and landscape photography, digital art creation, and visual storytelling. His engineering background in electronics and communications enriches his artistic process, giving him a unique mastery over light, perspective, and digital reproduction. By combining corporate vision, educational leadership, and a passionate creative eye, Juan Manuel bridges the technical mechanics of imaging with fine visual artistry inspiring a thriving network of photographers and creators.
