MEMBERSHIP in the Philadelphia Society of Botanical Illustrators affords the opportunity to participate in PSBI-sponsored exhibitions, special education programs, workshops, and field trips.


Exhibits Upcoming for 2012:

March 3-11, 2012 - Philadelphia Flower Show,
The Flora of Hawai’i:
Indigenous, Endemic, or Invasive

April 9-28, 2012 – The Station Gallery Spring Show, Greenville, DE – a juried show

June 1-28, 2012 - PSBI and Friends Hospital 200th Anniversary Show – a member’s choice show

October 1-28, 2012 – PSBI 15th Anniversary Show at Jenkins Arboretum being chaired by Ingrid Graham. This is a member’s choice show.

April 26, 2013 – ASBA/PSBI, Art and Nature, William Bartram Botanical Art Exhibit.

Members also receive the Newsletter which is published three or four times a year, by email (full color) or hard copy (B&W) for those who cannot or choose not to receive it electronically.

All Members are invited to our Annual Luncheon and Business Meeting/Election of Officers, and, when members offer their homes for the event, our Portfolio Sharing & Luncheon.

Member artwork is displayed in various ways on the PSBI website, and Members may have their own sites linked from this website.

Members who teach botanical illustration and closely-related art classes can have their classes advertised in the Newsletter and on this website. (Any other kind of advertising is available in our Newsletter for a fee.)

Members are needed and encouraged to take an active part in the ongoing activity and leadership of our all-volunteer Society, through participation in various committees.
