of the Guild of Natural Science Illustrators (GNSI), Linda studied
in the Botanical Art & Illustration Program at The New York
Botanical Garden. She has taught botanical illustration since
1998 in several venues including The Frelinghuysen Arboretum,
Somerset Art Association, Edison Art Society and Middlesex County
College.

Scientific Illustration I & II
M/W afternoons for 14 weeks. The cost depends on credits
Fall & Spring Semesters -- late August through December,
Mid January through April; 1:30 to 4:20 (M/W)
Scientific Illustration I (Fall) is a survey of the various
black and white techniques and media that function to visually
interpret scientific principles. The emphasis is on preparing
illustrations for publication. In addition, laboratory
activities involving scientifically significant taxa will provide
an elementary working knowledge of specimen handling, systematics
and scientific terminology.
Scientific Illustration II (Spring) is a continuation of S.I.
I, and
emphasizes colored media.
